Sunday

Today is Sunday. I woke up this morning feeling exhausted. My entire body aches today. Could this be because I started back at the gym this past week and my muscles are punishing me for staying away so long... Or could it be the cocktail party my hubby and I attended last night... Or could it just be that after 150 days (or 21 and half weeks) my body is telling me that I need more then 2 hours sleep a night? Hmmm let me think for a minute... I think it is all of the above.
So what did I do to help my body this morning you ask. Well, I fed it with a bacon and egg roll, a stroll around a local market with my daughter and a not very successful attempt at feeding my son Jack with the bottle. I say unsuccessful because he eventually sucked about 40 mls then refused the rest and cried, winged and kicked until I gave in and finished with a breastfeed. This really frustrates me because he has proven that he is 'capable' of taking a bottle he just refuses. Grrrr.
Well, my little cheeky boy is going to have a struggle this week because I am standing strong from now on and only offering the bottle until he takes it. This may seem hash but I have been trying for months now and he has started biting!!! OUCH!!!
Plus I am away this weekend on a mummy's only weekend away. This means no Jack and no breastfeeding for 30 hours. My fingers are crossed as are my toes and all of my husband. I will keep you posted on my progress.
My very spunky hubby is also giving me a leave pass tonight to catch a chic flick at the movies with the girls. We are seeing the Vow I think. I will fill you in on how it goes tomorrow.

Now my daughter has just woken up, is attacking my cheese and crackers and trying to 'colour in' my files on my desk. Time to go and get back to being a mum.
